Cardamom

Elaichi, sometimes known as cardamom, is a spice that is widely used in Indian cooking. It has a sweet and fragrant taste and is used to flavour teas, coffees, and other liquids. It has therapeutic characteristics and is used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat a variety of diseases. Cardamom comes in two varieties: green and black, with green being more typically used in cookery.
