Bagasse

Bagasse is the fibrous residue that remains after crushing sugarcane stalks to get their juice. It is a renewable and sustainable resource that is frequently utilised as a biofuel and as a raw material in the manufacture of paper and other products. It is high in cellulose and may be harvested and utilised as a raw material in the manufacture of paper. It may also be utilised as a raw material to make bioplastics, biofuels, and other value-added products. The sugar industry can minimise waste and generate new revenue streams while also supporting more sustainable practises by identifying new uses for bagasse.
